Great Movie, Bad Transfer

I love the steelbook packaging with a protective slip, and will miss Best Buy selling these exclusives.

T2 30th Anniversary Edition is outstanding!

Lionsgate did an outstanding job overall. The graphics inside and out are spectacular. My prior Steel book looks boring now compared to this one. The movie itself still looks great in 4K on the 4K HDR TV and Sony 4K player. Only the Theatrical version of the movie is on the 4K disc. The other 2 versions, the Special Edition and the Extended Edition, which is the longest, are on the Blu-ray as well as all the other special features brought over from previous editions. I believe all of them are on here. The menus are great also with motion and music. The only minus I would say is that it is not in Dolby Atmos 7.1. We have the DTS HD 5.1. Still, if you play it through your audio system or soundbar, which is what I have, it sounds awesome. I highly recommend this one!

- A:Answer This movie does not have Dolby atmos but it’s quality is outstanding and you should not have any problems with the audio and definitely not the picture quality. Not all 4K movies have it, it depends on how the movie was remastered. Hope this helps. A6J4

Q: QuestionI was under the impression this is the same exact 4k disc from the previous T2 4k that is extremely ridiculed among home theater enthusiasts (16 or 17 release that retails for around 9 dollar), i see some comments that contradict that. Can anyone clarify?

- A:Answer From what I understand it is the same transfer. However I didn't mind it that much plus it does come with the Blu-Ray version. Most of all I think it's about the steelbook/artwork more than anything.
