    Synopsis

    The Angriest Man in Brooklyn
Robin Williams, Mila Kunis, Melissa Leo, Peter Dinklage, and Hamish Linklater headline this dark comedy directed by Phil Alden Robinson, and centering on a man who races through the streets of Brooklyn on a mission to make amends for his checkered past after being informed that he only has 90 minutes to live. In all of his years, Henry Altmann (Williams) has never had a good day. An embittered malcontent with a perpetual chip on his shoulder, Altmann's impatience is put to the test one morning in his doctor's waiting room. Little does Altmann realize that Dr. Sharon Gill (Kunis) is having a particularly rough morning as well. Exceptionally enraged after being informed that he has a brain aneurysm, Altmann demands to know how long he has left to live. When the frustrated doctor vindictively gives Altmann a life-expectancy of 90 minutes, a sudden sense of regret washes over him, propelling him on a mission to seek forgiveness from the people he has hurt the most in his life. Meanwhile, Dr. Gill, regretful of her callous and reckless diagnosis, races to track Altmann down, and get him on the operating table. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

A remake of the 1997 Israeli film, The 92 Minutes of Mr. Baum, 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' is a fairly entertaining film, that doesn't eat your brains. 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' Synopsis: A curmudgeonly man is mistakenly told that he has 90 minutes to live by his doctor and promptly sets out to reconcile with his wife, brother and friends in the short time he believes he has left. 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' begins well & maintains a certain pace till the end. Its never spectacular, but its never too bad, either. Quite simply put -- Some of it works, some of it doesn't. Daniel Taplitz's Screenplay balances between comedy & drama, ably. Phil Alden Robinson's Direction is passable. Cinematography is good. Editing is also crisp. Performance-Wise: Robin Williams enacts 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn', with effortless ease. The Oscar-Winning Actor doesn't miss a single beat. Mila Kunis is impressive. Peter Dinklage is superb, while Melissa Leo is her usual self. The Great James Earl Jones is hilarious in a cameo. On the whole, 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn' is a safe bet for a one-time viewing.

Well for starters I again want to say rest in peace to the late great Robin Williams. The world is a lesser place with out your brand of comedic genius in it! Ok with that said I was told by a friend of mine I had to see this movie. I am HUGE movie buff with at this moment around 1170 titles and counting in my collection. So on his recommendation I picked this up but unfortunately have not had time to watch it yet. So just based on my personal belief of anything Robin Williams did was amazing I would still recommend this one to people.

I have always enjoyed Robin Williams movies and was saddened to hear of his passing! This was one of his last films and he delivered a great performance! The subject matter while it was good, it was also very sad knowing what happened to Mr. Williams in real life! Another hard movie to watch was "What Dreams May Come" because of the same reason.... RIP Robin Williams!

The acting in this movie was a little below average but it was still and enjoyable, funny movie. It was way to short though and not one of Robins Williams best movies. I would recommend this movie to only the right person who only wants to laugh.

Based on other reviews that I have read I was expecting this to be a terrible movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised and really liked it. Go and watch it if you are a Robin Williams fan and want to see his last movie made.

I enjoyed this movie even though it was shortly after Robin Williams death. Ironically in this movie he tries to commit suicide but learns from the errors of his ways. It has it's light-hearted moments but is still dark.

Really enjoyed this movie. Another great movie legend gone, but not forgotten. Robin Williams will be missed on the big screen, but forever on dvds. Wonderful story, made me laugh. Another great movie!
