I was born in 78 a watched this film w my "entire" family in 86 it was tha 1st an last time we all watched a movie together like tht - a classic flick my TT Victoria tuned us onto back when an I will attempt to do the same w my daughter whose Animed an Disneyed out lol - item arrived as advertised brand new an sealed thx bestbuy

One of the best Steven Spielberg films I have ever seen! Why this didn’t win any awards is beyond me! The Color Purple is a beautiful film!

So many star acting in this movie before they was star yet laugh,cry,mad you get all those feelings in this movie.

Great movie to watch. I had this movie before but somehow lost it so I had to purchase another. Love watching it on a rainy day.

life how it was for a young girl growing up during that period of time.rural farm life wasn't nice at all.how she grew from a child to a woman.

It's hard to believe that Steven Spielberg directed this film. The southern authenticity is amazing. The performances are spot on. By far the best film Goldberg has ever been a part of.
