Got a PS3 not too long ago to use as a gaming system and a Blu-Ray player. Have bought more movies than games, but this is a game I'm really happy I bought. It was a great price since Tony Hawk's Proving Ground was coming out soon, but it is still a great game for soemone who enjoys skateboarding games. The graphics are great, as expected, and the missions are challenging (although sometimes waaaay too challenging, even for someone who plays a lot). Overall I love the game, characters, and graphics. If you are looking for a skateboarding game but don't want to spend $60, then this is a great option.

Overall the game is great. The graphics are so crisp and the flow and look of the characters are on point. Like other THPS games, of course they have certain things they want you to do that are or may seem impossible but after practice and doing the same little mission over and over again you'll eventually pass it. So far the best of them all in the THPS line.

The THPS series has got some serious work ahead of it. Ea's Skate hit the scene, and proved that a more realistic skateboarding game, is actually what sells. Project 8 is a basic game, with a basic storyline, and some basic features. I would absolutely say buy Skate before this.
