weird set up
Read the reviews, needed it ti interact with Windows 10, had the 2 ports necessary, would NOT go past the set-up page and after several days of trying it I took it to Best Buy and The Geek Squad guys had a heck of a time getting it to work (which made me feel better, or at least not so inept!) turns out you had to get your cursor about a quarter of an inch AWAY from where you should have it to click to the next step & then the little hand magically appeared!! Don't know if it's a bad disk or??? It also vibrates quite a bit. It is lightweight.

Good drive for the price
My new laptop didn't come with an internal DVD drive, so I purchased this model to fill the void. I needed a DVD drive to install some software on my new laptop that was only available on CD. The drive worked well out of the box, and I appreciated that it came with a cord to connect it to the laptop. The drive is lightweight and relatively small, but I can't decide if that makes the unit feel "cheap." I don't have a lot of media on CD, so I likely won't be using it a lot. I MIGHT be concerned about durability if I were using this drive regularly.
