A: You can take the audio output into a receiver/amp and use the speakers connected to receiver. I did this and worked fine. Most younger people won’t know what a receiver is
A: No, it is not normal. The turntable on this unit is not recommended for your vinyl. Not a good turntable, nor stylus. Bought this for my 12 year old grandson, and very disappointed. The turntable has completely stopped working 2 times within 2 weeks. They (Best Buy Geek Squad) doesn’t even repair them. The unit is replaced entirely. No problems with other aspects of the Victrola.
