Great BBQ
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really pleased with this Weber BBQ It fits my needs perfectly! I decided to put it together myself, because that's what guys do. Even at my advanced age 67 it went very well took my time and did it right. Now I know where everything is and how to replace any parts needed in the future. The BBA itself is fantastic. I've cooked a couple of times on it and love it. I hate to even get it dirty! I also bought the griddle attachment and look forward to cooking on that also. I highly approve of this purchase!

Predictable and practicle grill.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Assembly is moderately challenging as well as time consuming, take your time and make sure you follow the steps in the manual as well as the BILT APP; suggest having a helping hand nearby. Once I finished assembly, which you can pay to have it assembled for around $200, the grill has plastic wrap all over it, at least the stainless steal one. Make sure you peel it all off, this takes a bit of time. The instructions require a initial burn off of traces of any residual oil or chemicals used during manufacturing, this process is a minimum of 20 minutes. All four burners on high and lid closed, stay away from the smoke during this period; the grill reaches upwards of 800 degrees. Cooking with this grill is very simple, as a big fan of charcoal the first thing I noticed is how easy this grill is to turn on and heat up before cooking with it and I don't have the concern I do with charcoal and potential sparks/fire or excessive heat. The grill has four total burners, the left burner sits separate from the three on the right with a gap between them, this is nice for cooking smaller meals without turning on additional burners. The three burners on the right side are considered the "sear station". Essentially its three burners concentrated in a close group that when on get very hot, great for steaks or anything you want to add some char too; the burners are controlled individually, so you don't have to use all three to cook. I want to add that the grill does have hot spots that seem to be concentrated in the center but they are very minimal and you probably wont notice unless you are slow cooking individual pieces of food, such as chicken legs or chicken thighs. I have made steak, chicken wings, chicken thighs, brats as well as smash burgers. It took me a few times to get down the times and temp settings for each of these, this is grill is very predictable once you understand that. It gives you total control over how long or how fast you want to cook your food. The separate stove burner works great and gets very hot, I have used this a few times for boiling beer brats before grilling them; it makes this grill more versatile and is practical in that sense. In all, I think you will enjoy using this grill and make sure you invest in the cover for it.

Excellent grill
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've been in need of a new grill for awhile now. The price on Best Buy was good and lower than anywhere else. The free delivery was excellent. I opted to assemble it myself since I wanted it assembled correctly the first time. Not to mention the reviews regarding assembly were not the greatest. Everyones experience may vary depending on the assembly team. I just didn't want to deal with the headaches if it wasn't assembled correctly. Besides, if I scratch something the only person I can blame is myself. That being said the grill arrived extremely well packaged with everything needed for a complete assembly. Assembly took me about 3 hours which includes unboxing the unit in it's entirety, assembly, and extensive cleanup (all packaging materials and protective materials applied to the grill). We used the grill within the next couple days allowing for a 30 min burn off for any chemicals that have been on the grill. Cooking was fast and extremely even. Construction is well thought out for the most part and I can only hope it lasts a long time. My cons: That handle to open the lid gets so incredibly hot sitting in the sun. The grill wasn't even on yet. I burned my hand just trying to open the lid to light it for the first time and the unit was covered using a weber grill cover. Not sure why they didn't put a silicone sleeve around the handle. For the price of Weber grills I don't understand why you can't include a grill cover. Instead you have to go out and spend another $100. The match lighter thingy on the chain is dumb and unnecessary.

Awesome Grill
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing grill that’s loaded with features and storage. The grill is not only a good-looking grill, but it’s almost great for cooking your steaks and other food. Having a stainless steel grill does require some effort to make your grill looking great. Best Buy’s installation is always a hit or miss, especially when they go third party, but I was lucky enough to have a great experience with them.

Performance and Function
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this after looking at both a flattop and regular grill. We have a 15 year old Genesis that still works great. I like how the burners are aligned left to right. It makes it easier to have multiple items on the grill that need different temps. The old one has the burners front to rear. I like the stainless steel grates. Have yet to use the sear function, but will try to update later. The overall build is solid and should last for years.

Q: QuestionAre the grates stainless steel?
Asked by Nicole.
- A:Answer Yes. Grates as well as the special grate that allows other attachments are solid stainless steel. The flavorizors which go directly over the burners to both protect them from stuff dripping down but also vaporize grease and provides the flavor are not though... They can rust and may need replacing after some years.
