Q: Where can I find the charcoal filters for this range hood?
A: This was our only complaint about this item; the filter was not included and was not easy to locate from a local retailer. We ended up going to Lowe's and buying a filter and cutting it to fit this hood. This hood is advertised as a ventless hood and as such, I believe the filter should have been included.
Q: Does this plug in or must it be hardwired
A: It must be hard wired.
Q: What is the sound level of this unit in sones at high speed? 0.5 decibels seems incorrect.

Q: How do I remove and clean the filter
A: Removal of the filters is easy and we clean ours with a consumer cleaner labeled Grease Lightening, warm water and a soft bristled brush.

A: Hi! This unit is not a ductless unit. It will accommodate either a rectangular or circular duct, however, this unit can also be installed as a recirculating vent. If, you chose to use the recirculating vent install you will need the Charcoal Filter Kit, That part number is W10905734. There is no suction on the right side!
There is no suction on the right side of this range hood. The single fan/blower is only on the left side. They didn't even bother putting it in the middle so both sides get something. Not sure what the logic is in this design. If it weren't so hard to uninstall and I need a range hood ASAP, I would have returned it.
