Hi SuzyJoe, you will need a 12" minimum cabinet depth to install this unit, so you should be fine.

I see from another's response that it is 6-3/8" so that I need to mount my cabinets higher. 3. I see from another's question that the fan used without an outside duct (recirculating) required charcoal filters that you do not sell, that they are $65 and last for six months. Please reconfirm this.
