A: Hello, Unfortunately, parts for this older model are no longer available nor is there anything that will work for or with it due to the technology has changed since this model was produced, which was back between 2000-2004. You can try checking with a local electronics shop to see if the motor can be repaired, or check online thru a 3rd party to see if anyone has a motor that will work for the hood, which the part number was 12120005. A: Hello, CBI-600A is only the internal motor. Both the CBI-600A and the AK8100AS have a CFM of 600. Zephyr blowers are measured in sones instead of decibles, This blower and hood have a maximum sone of 6 due to it's 600 CFM blower. A sone is an internationally recognized measurement of loudness. It is a unit of loudness as perceived by a person with normal hearing. This is the level and quality of noise your range hood will emit in a kitchen environment when properly ducted.
