This brand new 1/43 scale diecast model of the M10 Tank Destroyer D1 #77, representing the U.S.A. 72nd Anti-Tank Regiment, 6th Armored Division in Italy, August 1944, is produced by AFVs of WWII and comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened box. It features a detailed exterior, true-to-scale detail, and is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. The model comes in a plastic display showcase and does not have any openings, with dimensions approximately L-6, W-2.25, H-2.75 inches. The M10 tank destroyer, formally the 3-inch Gun Motor Carriage, M10, was a United States tank destroyer of World War II based on the chassis of the M4 Sherman tank. It was numerically the most important U.S. tank destroyer of the war, combining a reasonably potent anti-tank weapon with a turreted platform, unlike the previous M3 GMC which had limited gun traverse. Despite the introduction of more powerful replacements, the M10 remained in service until the end of the war.
