This brand new 1/43 scale diecast model of the M24 "Chaffee" Tank #3, representing the U.S.A. 1st Armored Division in Italy, April 1945, is produced by AFVs of WWII and comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened box. It features a detailed exterior, true-to-scale detail, and is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. The model comes in a plastic display showcase and does not have any openings. Dimensions are approximately L-5, W-2.5, H-2.5 inches. The M24 Chaffee, considered one of the best light tanks of World War II, was fast, lightly armored, and capable of delivering relatively large caliber fire with its 75 mm M6 gun. Over 4,000 units were produced by Cadillac and Massey-Harris from 1943-45, with the first vehicles reaching Europe in late 1944, where they proved effective and reliable. During the Korean War, American forces equipped with M24 Chaffees struggled against T-34/85s and were later supported by M26 Pershings, M46 Pattons, and M4A3E8 Shermans. The Chaffee remained in American service until 1953 and was subsequently used by many American allies, including the French army in Indo-China at the battle of Dien Bien Phu. Though largely obsolete by the mid-1960s, it remained in service in some client nations.

This is a brand new 1/43 scale diecast model of the German Sd. Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer #113 "Schwere Panzer Abteilung 507, Germany, 1945" by AFVs of WWII. The model comes in its brand new box and features a detailed exterior with true-to-scale detail. It is an officially licensed product and comes in a plastic display showcase. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts, the model does not have any openings and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. It measures approximately 9.5" in length, 3.25" in width, and 2.75" in height. The Jagdpanther was a tank destroyer based on the Panther chassis and armed with the 88mm L/71 gun. Proposed in October 1942, with a prototype inspected by Hitler fourteen months later, a total of 392 were produced by March 1945. By eliminating the turret and adding a fixed superstructure, the vehicle could mount the larger 88mm gun, while its sloped armor contributed to a sleek and effective design. Limited gun traverse required the driver to maneuver the entire vehicle, occasionally causing final drive gear failures, but once resolved, the Jagdpanther proved a formidable weapon. In well-chosen ambush positions, such as those represented by the camouflage on the model, it could destroy multiple opponents before being discovered. Initially issued to anti-tank battalions, the Jagdpanther later saw use in tank units that generally preferred turreted vehicles.
