Q: Can you overclock the Intel 8th Generation Core i9 (i9-8950HK) in this laptop?
A: Good morning Yes you can, because the "HK" means that this processor is unlocked and it's really easy using the alienware panel, you can also overclock the gpu (also unlocked ) the only "con" doing this, it's the temperature.
A: Both DIMMS are used, occupied by 2x8GB DDR4 2666. If you're looking to go 32 then you need to be aware that this system doesn't support XMP so Crucial, Kingston, Corsair etc 2666 modules will be downclocked to 2400 or below. Dell has a 32GB kit but it's more expensive than any of the high end 3rd party folks and Dell doesn't publish the CAS numbers on it so good luck knowing what you're getting. They also don't release who the OEM is so you can't look at a comparable product.

A: It was on clearance because Alienware came out with thier new lineup. They are gone for good.

A: Absolutely, Best;Buy- as well as other companies use progressive lease as a means to help people that have either bad credit or don’t want to use a credit card. It’s extremely simple and you don’t have to have a credit check done. Basically, you agreed to pay the item off in 90 days. They literally break down the payments So that it’s paid off in 90 days. Here’s the catch, if you don’t pay it off in 90 days or miss a payment interest is accrued retroactively and the interest is well over 100%. This is how this company makes its money. They actually want you to miss a payment so that they can make a lot of money off of you. If however you know your finances Will allow you to Pay this item off in three months, it’s an amazing solution. One of which I will use many times in the future. Just be careful not to get yourself in a bind!
