Nice head unit with some really cool features for the price

This radio sounds and looks good. It is very easy to use and it is nice that it comes with an SXM tuner, although the prices is about the same is if you were to buy one separately (and Best Buy still charges separate installation to install the SXM tuner). The Bluetooth works well. The display is a little bit limited compared to some other radios. For example, you cannot change the color and he display only shows the title, station, or artist, but not the clock. The box and website advertised six months of free SXM with a subscription but did not mention that it had to be a paid subscription. It is 3 free months if you sign up to be billed for 3 months of the full access plan. So in reality the three free months will cost $75. It is a nice unit but I prefer the Kenwood I bought for my other car about a year ago and had an SXM tuner installed. That radio has some more features and was about the same price as this when considering the cost of the tuner.

Easy to use interface allows for little to no learning curve to use the radio. Installation was a breeze in to my 2005 STi. Mounted the satelite antenna at the base of my drivers side A-pillar so i could avoid going through my firewall. I placed my microphone at the top of the A-pillar but it gets in the way of my sun visor, but that was an installation mistake on my part, nothing to do with the radio. I may move it to above the rear-view mirror. As far as the radio quality is concerned, it's great. Sound quality is great, plenty of ways to tailor the EQ, you can even control how loud each of the radio sources output by adjusting the dB. One Con that I have for it is sometimes while playing music through bluetooth on my Samsung Galaxy S5 (spotify), there's a brief millisecond pause in the music but i think that's more the phone than the radio since my previous car (which had BT built in to the factory radio) did this too. Also when i track forward using BT, it sometimes restarts the song. Again, I think that's my phone.
