A: We purchased the frame for the exact same reason and we are able to upload files that automatically get added to the slide show with out my parents have to do anything.
Q: Can someone from far away email a photo to this frame?
A: Yes and very easy
A: The frame does not require Wi-Fi to play photos. After the photos have been loaded onto the frame it will play them as long as the frame is turned on.
Q: can I email photos from my phone to the frame
A: Yes, you can either email or use our app to send pictures to the frame.
Q: How many photos will this hold?
A: It depends on the size of the pictures. If the picture is about 1-2 MB, you can have about 5-10 thousand pictures.
A: The frame is easy to setup. She just need to connect the frame to her wifi network and download the app from the app store to connect. If there is any question during the setup process, please contact us at 866-580-1978 and we will help her to set it up.
A: Please make sure you download the new "Aluratek Smart Frame" app for this 7" wifi frame as we have a different app for our older frames.
Q: How are pictures downloaded to these frames?
A: You get a free app and using the frames code you upload pics. You can send them from anywhere. I got my parents each one and my siblings and i can all send pics and video to their frames. You can also have more then one frame to send to if u want. Its super easy and u can also load from pc or memory card to i believe. But the app is the best way.
