Product Manuals
A: Yep, you can use ANY of the AmpliFi devices (standalone or Meshpoints) and add them into your existing Amplifi network. Their Support articles and Amplifi App have a pretty easy to follow tutorial about. I'd post the article directly here but Best Buy doesn't like URL's, so just search "Amplifi article 360016183893" and you should find it. Only downside: most Best Buys in my area don't sell the additional units on their own but they're certainly available through BestBuy.com, the vendor, or elsewhere. The two recommended products below would work just fine.
Q: Has anyone had any issues with this & Motorola baby monitors not connecting?
A: You may need to turn off band steering temporarily to connect baby monitors or other devices with old/inexpensive wifi capabilities. Try turning off band steering, connecting the monitor, and then re-enable band steering.
Q: Does it have a browser interface?
A: There is a browser interface but there are very few settings that you'll have available to you. Primary administration and monitoring is performed through a mobile device on the wireless network.
Q: Can I used the unifi mesh Ac mess access point with this unit
A: Nope. I was told by a salesperson it would work but it does NOT mesh together.
