In 1970, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber released Jesus Christ Superstar as a concept double album. It became a massive global best-seller, topping the US Billboard Top LPs chart in both February and May 1971, as well as ranking at number one in the year-end chart. By 1983, the album had sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Within a year of it's chart success, stage productions of Jesus Christ Superstar began to appear all over the world, leading to record-breaking runs in the West End, a hit Hollywood film, Tony nominations and Olivier Awards. Double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Live At The Forum '76, features 10 songs recorded in the Fall of 1976, just prior to the of Hotel California. The tracks will be making their vinyl debut, as they were previously only available on CD and digitally as part of 2017's 40th Anniversary Edition of Hotel California. The live music takes up three LP sides while the final one features an exclusive etching of the artwork. Live At The Forum '76 was recorded during the band's three-night run at the Los Angeles Forum in October 1976. The show took place as the group was putting the finishing touches on Hotel California, which would be released that December. The concert recording captures some of the very first live performances of InchHotel CaliforniaInch and InchNew Kid In Town.Inch During the show, the band also play hits from earlier albums with InchTake It EasyInch from the band's 1972 self-titled debut; InchAlready GoneInch from 1974's On the Border; and the #1 title track from 1975's One of These Nights. The concert also includes a raucous performance of InchFunk #49,Inch a song originally recorded by Walsh's James Gang. Album Tracks 1. Double 180 gm vinyl LP pressing features the new stereo album mix, sourced from the original session tapes and 10 bonus tracks including three previously unreleased songs - 'Scarlet', 'All The Rage', and 'Criss Cross'. Goats Head Soup was released in August 1973 by Rolling Stones Records. Goats Head Soup was recorded in Jamaica, the United States and the United Kingdom and mixed in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The album contains 10 tracks, including the lead single InchAngieInch which went to #1 in the United States. The album was the last to be produced by Jimmy Miller who was a key architect of The Rolling Stones sound during their most acclaimed period which began with 1968's Beggars Banquet.
