Q: what's the difference between cyper/apc power?
A: If you mean CyberPower and APC, they are just two different companies doing the same thing. They make uninterruptible power supplies. I have both brands currently in use. Factors that can vary should be considered before purchasing should be, form factor which is the physical size characteristics, the ratings on how long it can operate when you have a power outage, the Joules rating for line surge and lightning protection. Also you should consider the number of outlets and the spacing between them, also, if you need USB ports, ethernet protection, landline phone protection because some units will have some or all of those. I know this is a long answer, but I think they are both good companies. They have been around a long time. I have had successes with both. So I always find that I shop for value in the price and specs rather than the name brand.
