Q: Where can I find 3 prong to 2 prong adapters for the 2200 model??
A: Thank you for your inquiry. We do not sell any adapters for your request and do not suggest using them in an application like this. Using an adapter to go from 20A to 15A input will essentially make your 2200VA model only a 1500VA model and decrease its max output power to only 15A. We suggest having a 5-20R wall outlet installed on site so that this 2200VA model can plug into and use its full power output of 20A.
Q: Can this be charged using a 300W Power Inverter (DC 12V to 110V AC Car Inverter)?
A: Thank you for reaching out. We have not tested our Smart-UPS in this way, so we can't say with 100% certainty if it will charge or not. This unit comes with a 20 amp input plug, so standard operation would be to connect it to a 120 vac 20 amp outlet.
A: Thank you for you inquiry. All the outlets on the SMT2200 will provide battery power. The unit will provide 8 minutes of time at full load (1920 watts).
