Q: my apc ups-smart 1500 says "the battery is not connected
A: Out of the box, one of the leads will be disconnected on the battery. You will need to connect it. Also, the other may have come loose and should be checked that it is properly connected. This is done intentionally and should be noted in your owners manual.
Q: What size UPS do I need to power a 120VAC, 2A power supply for 10 hours?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. A 2A, 120V load on the Smart-Ups C 1500 will provide about 40 minutes of runtime. For a longer back up time you may need to go with an extended run UPS.
