As a digital artist, I often need to connect various cables between my tablet and computer. This adapter, being an official Apple product, offers great compatibility and is very easy to use. I like using a larger adapter at home, but when I’m working outdoors or drawing in another location, this one is lightweight and convenient to carry. The trade-off for its portability is that it only supports a single USB-C to USB connection, so if you need HDMI or additional ports, it may not be sufficient.

I just purchased a new iMac which has new ports (USB-C) on the back of the computer which are different from my last Mac which had USB. I needed this Apple Adapter so I could still use my USB devices like the Apple USB SuperDrive I used on my last Mac. This adapter makes it possible for me to use my heated eye mask for a few minutes each evening to give my eyes a rest. Very easy to connect to the computer and then to connect your USB item. You'll want to get this adapter is you still have USB devices you want to use.

This item works perfectly and I couldn't really ask for more than a lower price. This is an Apple product so it comes at a premium, of course, but it's also useful and a required accessory if you have any previous electronics or computer accessories. If you are starting out new you can buy external and flash drives that are built for Thunderbolt 3 but if you have any existing drives or even an iPhone that isn't brand new you'll need this cable or a hub. This product deserves 5 stars but because it isn't cheap and is required I have to remove 1 star. If it were cheaper or something that wasn't required it would get 5 stars all day long. I opted to purchase a hub and this cable for a bit of versatility when connecting my devices. This cable works great when quickly connecting my phone or a flash drive on the go. Perfect and required for every MacBook laptop bag!

It is not too long or short, it fits to the microphone perfectly. It was necessary for me.

One thing about buying the official Apple adapter is that you can tell the quality and plastic is good. The usbc plug is smaller than competing adapters and for the price of 9.99 you can't beat it. However it's not worth it when the price goes back up on these. Buy them now while you can at the lower price.

This adapter works great with my CD driver. I purchased a Macbook a few months ago and had photos on a disc that I needed to download. The adapter worked wonderfully with my driver. I downloaded my pics with no problem! Thanks, Apple!

Perfect size and not easy to lose hope it holds up

Works as intended never had a problem and bought quite a few.

It works like it’s supposed to. I use this to connect a Logitech wireless mouse to our MacBook. Works fine. It’s a 2020 MacBook. Of course Apple could just build one in to the MacBook!

No longer do I have the desire to take my printer out into a field and relive Office Space. Dongle saved a printers life.

We used this to replace a USB adapter of a different brand that was giving us connectivity issues between a new iMac and the camera it was attached to. This adapter has worked flawlessly.

I'll be honest, I'm not fan of buying these type of accessories because I feel these are cash grabs for Apple but... this was needed in order to connect my Logitech mouse to my new Macbook Pro. It gets the job done!
