88-Note Weighted Hammer-Action Keybed
AstroLab 88 features a Fatar TP-40L hammer-action keybed with piano-sized keys, triple sensors, and aftertouch for expressive playing. Eleven Integrated Sound Engines
Access a variety of tonal possibilities with 11 sound engines, including Virtual Analog, Samples, Wavetable, FM, Granular, Physical Modeling, Vector, Harmonic, Phase Distortion, Vocoder, and Karplus synthesis. This range supports everything from acoustic emulations to complex synth textures directly on the keyboard.
Extensive Presets and Software Library
AstroLab 88 includes 1,800 onboard presets across 44 instruments, and is compatible with over 10,000 additional sounds available through Arturia V Collection and Pigments software (sold separately). Musicians can quickly find reference sounds or create custom tones, enabling seamless integration into studio and live workflows without extra hardware.
Hands-On Controls and Effects
Four macro knobs allow real-time adjustment of parameters, including brightness, timbre, time, and movement, while 12 insert effects cover delay, reverb, and modulation. These controls provide tactile shaping of layered sounds and quick adjustments during performance or sound design sessions.
Studio-to-Stage Connectivity and Workflow
AstroLab 88 connects via MIDI DIN I/O, USB-C, USB-A host, balanced stereo input, pedals, Bluetooth audio, and WiFi.
