How is it sold out if it hasn't been release yet?
Answered by AnonymousThe biggest problem is that Best Buy never posted a release date for pre-orders, and they made it online-only. That made it nearly impossible for regular people to get a copy unless they were using bots. What’s really disappointing is that stores didn’t have access to the pre-orders either. I went to four different stores, and since May I had been asking every week for updates on when pre-orders would go live. Nobody had any information. I’ve been trying to get one since May 1st. Pre-orders finally went live on July 8th, but I couldn’t even find the link, and stores couldn’t provide a SKU or any details because they didn’t have access to that information either. Honestly, it’s frustrating. I wish they had handled it more like the Halo Xbox release a for years ago. Announce a date, let people line up, and give everyone a fair chance to buy one. Instead, it felt like the process favored bots and resellers over actual customers.
