Very powerful gaming laptop with an excellent display ASUS ROG Strix SCAR with Core i9 and RTX 5090 is an extremely fast gaming laptop. All games I’ve tested run smoothly on ultra or near-max settings. Performance is excellent and very stable. The display is a major upgrade compared to the regular Strix. With up to 1200 nits brightness, it’s noticeably brighter and much more comfortable to use. On the regular Strix (around 600 nits), brightness always felt a bit lacking — here it’s more than enough. Keyboard is also better than on the regular Strix. The SCAR has non-transparent keycaps, which makes them much easier to read, especially at night with the backlight on. The transparent keys on the regular Strix were harder to see in dark conditions. The laptop feels well balanced for its class and not too heavy. A big plus is how easy it is to maintain — the bottom panel opens easily, making RAM and SSD upgrades simple. Cons: the black plastic корпус shows fingerprints very easily. The regular Strix I had before came in a gray color, and fingerprints were barely noticeable, which was more practical. The laptop also gets hot under heavy gaming load, and the speakers are just average — MacBook has noticeably better sound. Another thing missing is a fingerprint reader; adding one would make this laptop close to perfect. Overall, an excellent gaming laptop for the price — extremely powerful, with a very bright display and improved keyboard. Very happy with the purchase.

Computer is amazing and very fast. The screen and graohics card make the computer a must have gor any gaming enthusiast.

I've been extremely impressed with the laptop so far, the combination of the Intel Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 delivers incredible performance in both gaming and productivity. Modern AAA titles run effortlessly at high settings, and demanding workloads like video editing, 3D rendering, and AI applications are handled with ease with the abundance of RAM. The 18-inch Mini-LED Nebula HDR display is one of the best features. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the 240Hz refresh rate makes games look incredibly smooth. The keyboard feels excellent for both gaming and typing, and the RGB lighting adds a premium touch without being overdone. The AniMe Vision on the back of the screen is also a super cool idea, adding even more customizations to the device. Storage and memory are generous out of the box with a fast 2TB SSD and 32GB of RAM, so I didn't feel the need to upgrade immediately. The cooling system does a respectable job considering the powerful hardware, although the fans become noticeable under heavy gaming loads—which is expected for a laptop with this level of performance. The only downsides are the premium price and the fact that it's a large, heavy laptop that isn't meant for frequent travel. Battery life is also not great when not plugged in, but that's typical for a desktop-replacement gaming machine. Overall, if you're looking for one of the fastest gaming laptops available and want an outstanding display with top-tier performance, the G835LX-XS97 is an excellent choice. Just make sure you're comfortable with its size and that you'll primarily use it plugged in. ASUS really kicked it out of the park with this one!

With an RTX 5090, Intel Core i9, 32GB of RAM, and a 240Hz 2.5K display, it crushes everything from high-end gaming to heavy editing like it’s nothing. It’s fast, powerful, and looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie. I’m obsessed. And honestly? I regret it—regret not buying it sooner. This thing’s a game-changer, literally.

This is just beyond imagination, I play Cyberpunk on max 4k with fps jumping over 350 and the coolers wont even bother to go loud. Never got hot or anything. Just having this laptop makes me happy, using it is on the other lever of pleasure
