A: It does not have the ability to upgrade the BIOS without the CPU. Looking on the back you'll notice there's no USB dedicated to BIOS flashing which is unfortunate considering the number of USBs available on this board. Also, there's no way to knowing which BIOS will be installed when you receive the item. Some have reported having the latest installed with stickers on the box stating "Ready for Ryzen 5000 series" while others are not. Truly a great ITX board with a crippling flaw given recent CPU release from AMD. Hope this helps.

Q: Will the motherboard boot from the onboard M.2 drives, or are they only for storage?
A: The M.2 drives can be used either as storage or boot drives. You can configure this within the BIOS.
A: Yes it will work, actually that is the exact cpu i have on my system with 32gb gskill ram.
A: The motherboard should be Ryzen 5000 ready, if it was built after the release date of the CPU. You may need to confirm with Best Buy on the manufacture date of the motherboards.
