ASUS - ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI (Socket AM5) AMD X870 ATX DDR5 Wi-Fi 7 Motherboard - Black

The ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI is an absolute powerhouse of a motherboard, tailor-made for enthusiasts and gamers who want top-tier performance from their AM5 build. Packed with the latest features, a robust power delivery system, and future-proof connectivity, this board sets a high bar for what a premium X870 motherboard should be. Build Quality & Design – 9.5/10 Right out of the box, the X870E-E impresses with a sleek black finish, RGB accents, and a solid, premium feel. ASUS’s typical attention to detail is present throughout—from reinforced PCIe slots to premium capacitors and heatsinks. It also comes with an integrated I/O shield and high-end VRM cooling, making it not only functional but beautiful to work with. Performance – 10/10 This board is built for speed. Supporting AMD Ryzen 7000 and upcoming 8000-series processors, the X870E-E handles overclocking like a champ thanks to its powerful 18+2 power stages and exceptional VRM cooling. Memory support is equally impressive, with up to DDR5-8000+ (OC) and full EXPO/XMP compatibility. Boot times are fast, and the overall system stability is rock-solid, even under load. Connectivity – 10/10 ASUS pulled out all the stops here: Wi-Fi 7 ensures next-gen wireless performance. Dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots provide bandwidth for high-performance GPUs and expansion. USB4 Type-C, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and tons of USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports round out a killer I/O suite. It also includes multiple M.2 slots, including PCIe 5.0, with high-quality heatsinks to prevent thermal throttling. BIOS & Software – 9/10 The ASUS UEFI BIOS is intuitive and powerful, catering to both beginners and pros alike. Features like Q-Fan control, BIOS Flashback, and MemTest built-in make system tuning and troubleshooting a breeze. ASUS's Armoury Crate software is improving, but it can still feel bloated at times—though the functionality it provides is useful for RGB and driver control. Final Verdict: 9.7/10 If you're building a high-end AM5 system and want a motherboard that delivers cutting-edge performance, great thermals, and the latest connectivity features, the ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI is hard to beat. It’s a bit of an investment, but it more than justifies its price with a future-proof design and uncompromising quality.

This motherboard is top of the line in performance and all and was at a lower cost than the newer version the neo which is like an extra $200 for AI features which I didn't want. This has great support for overclocking. So if you're looking for something that's the best of the best without going and breaking your wallet go for this motherboard it's also future proof so no need to upgrade in the future unless it's like 10 years later.

Really good item. Would recommend and worth the price. Lives up to it's expectations and quality.

I’m here only to review best buy as i have not actually been able to test the product. Waiting on 9800x3d stock but the fact best buy shipped my order without actually packaging the motherboard in an additional box is mind blowing to me. I recieved my package as if were coming straight off a shelf and is not what i would have expected for such an expensive item. The box is very noticeably damaged as if tossed around and which is why im giving it so low of a rating.

For it being a mid tier motherboard offers a lot of USB Ports both USB-A and USB-C, Built in Wi-Fi and a ethernet 5G port. Had a problem with the first one I ordered but bestbuy helped me to get it swapped out with another one and it has been cruising on easy mode since.
