Great motherboard. I was able to overclock my CPU to 5.0GHZ without issue. This is a good buy for anyone looking for a CPU.

This is a great motherboard with a lot of attractive features. Installs easily and the instructions are clear. Be aware the LGA1700 CPU generates a LOT of heat, and does NOT come with a fan. The manual tends toward installing a water CPU cooling system, but it is possible to use a high end cooler. I selected a Noctua NH-U12A, because I had enough space in my case, and it's keeping my CPU at a frosty 30 degrees Centigrade. I'm giving the Motherboard 4 stars because the network drivers refused to load after I installed Windows 10 from my original DVD disks, and while Asus Tech Support was responsive, they never solved the problem. The solution was to download the Microsoft program to create Windows 10 Installation media using a thumbdrive for installation on a different PC and install it. Then ALL Asus programs installed flawlessly. But it took three days to get to that point.

The motherboard is amazing and fit great in my case. There is also lots of fan headers which I needed.

Bought it 9 months ago for my DIY PC project, along with Intel Core i5-13500 CPU, CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 RAM, and Samsung 980 PRO 1TB (Geek Squad Certified Refurbished) SSD. Setup was easy, with no problems at all. There were no overheating or stability issues during the 9 months of moderate gaming/backend development tasks. Can recommend.

Brand new, out of the box, wired ethernet briefly drops out randomly while playing games. Had to get an external ethernet card. Looking online this is a common problem with a bunch of possible fixes that don't always work. Seems to be related to the fact it uses an Intel NIC Chipset. Everything else is great.

Great mobo, easy to setup. Works with a lot of different pc configs. Worth every penny

Would not boot, DRAM and CPU lights were alternating. Pulled all the RAM, put one stick in at a time in the A2 slot as the manufacturer recommends. Still nothing. Finally determined the A2 memory slot was bad, and it would boot fine with memory in the other three slots. Figured maybe it was a BIOS issue. Then when trying to install Windows 11, the board would not recognize ethernet or wifi connections. Also would not install MyAsus. Had to use the offline workaround to install Windows. Then tried to update the BIOS. Didn't recognize the new BIOS a couple times, then magically installed it. Weird. Even with new BIOS, the WiFi did not work and the A2 memory slot was still bad and would halt boot. Didn't have time or patience to wait 4 days or longer for an exchange, so I returned this board and picked up an MSI Tomahawk instead. I wanted to like this board, even with a missing RAM slot and 48 GB of RAM it was super fast, and ASUS has been good to me for decades. Last two builds contained as much ASUS as I could fit in it. Real disappointed.
