Q: Does this have a USB Type C Thunderbolt 3 port and what speed is the data transfer?
A: There are two USB-A 3.0 ports, a USB-C 3.1 port, a full-size HDMI port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Unfortunately, the USB-C port doesn’t support Thunderbolt 3 for power charging. You can check Asus website for USB-C 3.1 port for more details.
Q: How long does the battery last and is it very portable/easy to carry around all day?
A: I have been using it in class 5 hours with multiple applications opened and connected online, still got tons of battery supply left on the indicator. And also selected lowest battery usage mode option to maximize energy consumption. Asus have greatly improved the battery capacity for this model. Portability and easy to carry around, Yes.
