Atreyu - The Beautiful Dark of Life - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

American metalcore stalwarts Atreyu make a passionate return to the hearts of fans everywhere with The Pronoia Sessions - a new collection that deconstructs, recreates, and reshapes eight of their greatest hits and two nostalgic tribute covers. The genesis stretches back to a series of acoustic performances at special events on the road. InchWe had the idea to do a show similar to Nirvana's MTV Unplugged as a one-off thing,Inch explains frontman Brandon Saller. InchThen we thought, 'Why not spend some time on it in the studio?' And it built from there. 'How far can we push this?' It spawned from there and unexpectedly turned into this monster.Inch What began as an acoustic album evolved into a grand re-imagining of Atreyu classics.

2015 . After a three year hiatus, embers started to glow again for Southern California metal trailblazers Atreyu. They hit the studio with producer Fred Archambault [Avenged Sevenfold] and began cutting what would be their sixth album, Long Live and first since 2009's Congregation Of The Damned. They have moved three million records worldwide, sold out shows and garnered critical acclaim influencing everyone from Hollywood Undead to Of Mice & Men. The title sums up Atreyu's mindset and this fire is only starting to burn. Includes 'Cut Off The Head', 'Do You Know Who You Are?', 'Moments Before Dawn' and the title track.

2018 . Following a short hiatus, Atreyu returned firing on all cylinders with Long Live during 2015. It crashed the Top 30 of the Billboard Top 200 and earned widespread acclaim. The band sold out countless headline shows in addition to sharing the stage with everyone from Slipknot to Linkin Park. After a two-year tour cycle for Long Live, Atreyu regrouped in Southern California for what would become offering number seven, reuniting with producer John Feldmann who famously helmed Lead Sails Paper Anchor. Atreyu has been described as metalcore and post-hardcore.
