It’s an amazing product! I absolutely love it. The thing is, the only con about this product is that the adhesive side falls about every five minutes. But other than that it’s an amazing product and I love it!

Put behind my tv. Backlights the screen for watching at night. Had to use hot glue to fix the corners, but that is my only complaint.

Concept=great, delivery of that concept=horrible. Adhesive has almost completely failed after 2 weeks and I am now 2 days out of return. Also, on installation of curving 1 strip around TV corner, the blue leds went out completely, but all other colors still work. I suppose I will tape them like some other people said, but that surely isn't what people are expecting to do. Look for a better option. Also, I got these on sale for $14.99...still not worth it. Photo depicts the failing adhesive, soon of which the strip will be on the floor.

I've got the AURA LED lights to counter the brightness of my monitor, which is placed on a desktop desk with an overhead shelf. Putting them on is easy. However, one still has to be careful as once you place the adhesive strip on, it is hard to take it off. They are powered by USB (from the PC or monitor, if available). The strip also features a controller which handles how the lights "behave" (continuous, flicker, etc.). Unfortunately, there is no option to dim the lights. And let me tell you, they are bright! So much that they lit up the whole back and became overwhelming and honestly distracting. So, I don't turn them on at all. I can't recommend it if your monitor is too close to the wall. They are just too bright.

Bought this during a BB Deal of the Day. First of all, the packaging is unnecessarily fancy lol. Nice touch, but really? Anyway, I like that the unit includes a USB extension cable. So one can tweak length to the power source, as needed. The controls are simple and easy to use. Someone posted that there is no "always on" setting (i.e., steady light). Works for me. Steady on is the first setting. Perhaps that user has a defective product (?). This is a very simple single color white LED strand. I would only buy something like this on sale. I say this because I have three other multicolor LED strands (two have remotes) that did not cost that much than this one. This is why I bought it as BB deal. If you are looking for simple, short (vs. 16 feet), white, and simple wired controls, then you might want to consider this product. If you want color and a radio (vs. wired or IR) remote, then shell out a few bucks and get one of those instead. I hope this helps.

This thing really does look great like all the other reviews but at $39.99 it’s a bit steep in price which means be careful when installing! You can tear it real easy. I used small strips of black tape to make it extra secure since my monitor has a grill on the back therefore less surface area to stick to. The one thing I really dislike is all the finicky ways of controlling the lights and how it’s all preset colors. This thing would be an absolute dream if it had the ability to be controlled via software so you can actually change the color values manually but hey it’s just a strip of LEDs at the end of the day. May be cheaper options but I’m happy overall

I expected this to have software for ambient screen matching - it doesn't. I expected it to have a smooth transition rainbow option - it doesn't. The USB connection is purely to power the strip, a real shame. It's a lightstrip with 3 buttons to control color, brightness, and then 1 button lets you set it to flash different colors, which I don't think I'll ever use because it's harsh and makes me feel like I'm at a disco. HOWEVER installation was a breeze with very little pre-planning and the static colors and brightness options suit my needs well enough to complement my RGBW desk light and tower lights. I got it for $20 and I wouldn't pay more than that as it is now.

I really love how easily this lights are to set up. I used them along my desk than my monitor and it is a great makeshift way to decorate your desk with lighting if you can not afford to buy a desk with that feature. The lights are very vibrant and easy to use. Would highly recommend for gamers or people looking to decorate their setups.

Lights were too bright for me but won't knock the product for that. Bought to use with a 32" television. As other have noted, adhesion tape peels away and this model does not come with a remote. Knew that when purchasing which is why I'm not lowering the overall rating. Does have on/off switch and strobe flashing feature. Deal of the Day Purchase. Recommendation: Purchase model with remote control usage included and multi-color display option at minimum. Better money value.

I was hesitant to buy this at first due to the price. I think it could be slightly cheaper, but overall it is a high quality product. The lighting is bright and dimmable and the controls are easy to use.

This product is a bit expensive, but- with that said, it does reduce eye strain, I feel. I like having it because it illuminates my room just a bit late at night where I don’t have to turn the whole room lights on. (Yes, I could buy a lamp too! XD)

Good quality light strip. Use it on my desk to light up my workspace. It's bright and clear lighting. It also helps with eye strain when using my computer. Comes with a USB extension which is nice. Snag it if it's on sale.

the third one i've bought. one tucked up under the lower edge of a picture frame above my bed for reading in bed and ambient lighting with five levels of brightness. one along the wall side edge of a book case, both are positioned so you see the light without the led shining in your eyes. the third fully exposed on the wall behind my bedroom easy chair for reading and to light up the whole room.

Adds a great glow behind my Samsung TV. Switches off when TV is turned off. Easy install. If I'd known backlighting was this easy, I'd have done it a while ago.

I know this isn't the best but over all it is okay. The only problem I have is, the way to control the lights because I dont want to keep getting out of my seat and pressing the button cycling through each mode then getting back. I just wish it came with a non integrated wireless remote

Too pricy for what it does, after I installed them, I went to a different store and found some “generic” version for less of half of the money of what I paid for them, they even look brighter.
