Too much marketing from AVG for their by-products. If some customers are not aware of the system of things on the security and they may feel threatened which will end up buying the products that are being marketed by AVG. Customers should feel safe after installing the AVG product; should not feel threatened all the time.

I’ve been using AVG since 2009 and it's an amazing piece of additional security on top of several other software I use for max protection. Reading the reviews, I see a lot of people don't know how to actually use the digital download and give it 1 star instead. Let me give you a walkthrough for WINDOWS PC to help you understand how it's used. 1. Make sure you have AVG downloaded and installed, make an AVG account on AVG's website, and then use the Menu button in the top right corner of the app to sign in. Pretty straight forward. 2. Buy this product. 3. When you see that the download is ready, go to your digital library. 4. In your digital library, you will see a KEYCODE for AVG. 5. Keep that KEYCODE handy. 6. Go to the AVG app on your computer. In the top right of the app, you will see the Menu button. Enter the Menu. The first option should be Enter Activation Code. Click this option. 7. Put the KEYCODE in and click Enter. 8. Answer the few questions that pop up and hit Enter. 9. Your AVG app is now activated with all the features. As a tech enthusiast, I can guarantee you the default windows security feature does very little to actually protect you. Having the AVG Free Version alone is far better. Having the paid AVG is far beyond comparison that it isn’t even a fair fight. I will agree, having the endless spam of “Your subscription is expired, would you like to renew?” is extremely tiresome. Putting AVG into silent mode tones it down but it’s still annoying. I understand they need to make money too. Honestly, I always recommend AVG to anyone who has a computer. Even the Free Version. And I will continue to recommend AVG.

If you want a great antivirus security software, then this is the software for you. I payed only $29.99. I wanted to stay save while browsing the internet. So many hackers these days, you want to stay safe with this budget software.

Does the job affordable, especially for multiple laptops

I am a loyal user of this product, and have it on all my machines. I try to find 10 device, 1 or 2 year subscription. It can be a memory hog, but not any more than other similar products.

We traveled to many stores who sale AVG Hard Copy but nowadays nobody sales it. I do not trust my credit card with overseas address so Best Buy told me I can buy a online AVG so I looked around a few more store before I resided to buy AVG Antivirus though a trusted US company and I saved at least $20. What A Bargain!

I like the product but I hate the continual upsell that AVG does with their products you down own. If I wanted to buy them, I would. I don't need constant reminders. I wish Best Buy would fix their Digital Library download of the product as well. It has been a real pain getting the product installed. BTW - if trying to install first on a Mac don't bother. You need to install on a Windows PC first to get the License Key. Then you can install on your Macs. That was a huge pain.

over all pretty good features. I am not a fan of the basicness of this... meaning i get pop ups wanting me to upgrade to other versions to fix issues that were advertised on this box.. not cool and will not be signing up for this again when the year is up. will not recommend this to anybody

I found this incredibly difficult to set up, every time I try to install it for my digital library on Best Buy it said it didn’t exist. I then had to call into customer service where I was transferred twice to explain how you have to install it and it was many steps just to get it in onto my computer. Overall it does the job, but it’s not user friendly.

Good product overall, and very user friendly design

I'm really glad i got this on the deal of the day bonus pricing because it is not worth the full price of the product for a year. it tries to upsell you on every last option, so basically your only getting basic and i mean basic coverage. I'm not even sure its actually protecting me at this point but it is better than nothing I guess

Bought it because of the price. Dont think will get a renew for the next year, To much paid services offered for an extra $. Dont see much value. Can find something compatible for the same $ but with more functionality.

It does what i needs to but I keep getting notifications that I need to do some kind of subscription to really protect my computer. I'm not sure what's different between this one and the free version.

I ADDED THIS TO ONE OF MY LAPTOPS, IT IMMEDIATELY CLEANED A FEW BUGS OUT AND FINALLY, STOPPED THE SPYWARE !!

I got this AVG internet security on sale tried it and It’s good to have this for secured internet browsing.

This is my 3rd time buying this & I am very impressed by this internet security brand. So far no complaints.

It is a good product with up to date virus definitions. The one negative is the constant sales pitch to purchase the more expensive version of AVG.
