A: I tested it on my television and it didn't project audio or video at all, so I think it's just for vehicles.

A: No, this cable does not work as a Composite RCA conversion cable for AV use. Verified with my Ohm Meter that the 3.5 mm side is wired differently for Video, L&R Audio and even Ground connections.
