This is a good network adapter, perfect for the newer style USB ports. I recommend this if you have a new laptop or other device and do not want to tie up any of your standard USB ports. Easy to use other than needing a network cable, this device does not require any extra software or additional hardware.

Got this to connect my 2017 MacBook Pro to LAN ethernet connection. There are no instructions included and the instructions online basically say to plug it in. What I had to do first was go to System Preferences -> Network, then at the bottom of the list of connections on the left click the '+' to add a connection, then select "Belkin USB-C LAN" from the Interface drop-down menu. Once I figured that out it works great.

Purchased this to use Ethernet on new MacBook Pro with touchbar. Works as expected. Although, I don’t see why Apple did not include an Ethernet port in the machine in the first instance. Agreed that this is sacrifice they made for minimalistic design, but it means without an adapter such as this, you can’t connect your expensive MacBook Pro in places where the only option is wired Ethernet.

Provided a USB-C to Ethernet connection for my laptop. Works wells. Sometimes gets a little warm, but otherwise does what it is supposed for a decent price. It is Ethernet only. No other card reader, usb, or kind of ports. This is Ethernet only, which is all I needed.

Worked right out of the box with no issues. Internet speeds more than doubled compared to wifi. Product doesn't feel cheap and the connection to my laptop's usb-c port is sturdy and doesn't move.

Perfect for my needs! I bought a new laptop that I keep connected via WiFi. However, during support call, I was asked to connect via ethernet and suddenly realized that my laptop did not come with an ethernet port. So I found this great little adapter. Easy plug & play operation. Computer immediately recognized the adapter and internet speeds were great while connected. Price was just right.

Bought this as i found the WiFi router chokes the speed of my internet access. I wanted to increase the internet speed of my MacBook Air and it doesn’t disappoint. Only gripe is that does get pretty hot after a fair amount of use.

This adapter works well. I do not notice a difference between the port on my last very similar laptop and using the adapter. Convenient to have if I need it and easy to carry with me in the laptop bag. Worth having and has come in very handy.

I bought this adapter to use with a new Dell XPS 15 Laptop. I'm running Fedora Linux Workstation 25 and needed a ethernet gigabit adapter that would just work plug-n-play with Linux and it absolutely does! I don't have any complaints about it.

Gets the job done without breaking the bank. Sometime you just can't beat the security, speed and reliability of a wired connection. Works perfect with the new M1 MacBook Pro.

Got this Ethernet adapter to use with my 2017 MacBook Pro while traveling overseas. It works great, no issue so far. One thing to be aware of is that it can get very warm in prolong using.

I was in a hard place needing a network adapter for a macbook pro. I wasn't sure this would work but plugged it in and it worked right away. Has been working great with no problems.

This network adapter was required as my new laptop did not have the correct port for internet connection. This adapter works great.

Just what i needed it for. Worked without flaws. Speed is good and easy to plug in.

We switched computers and needed to free up a port on the USB A hub, more recent computers seem to be trading size for usability/ports. This was a good way to combat this issue. This adaptor works the same, maybe a bit faster, than it’s USB A counterpart. Only four stars because I wish the USB C cord was a little longer to make it easier to fold behind the computer and conduct cable management better.
