A: I am wondering the same thing. They've been out of them for at least a month and a half. I might have to just order them from eBay.
Q: What kind of wiring am I going to need to hook up to my receiver with these speakers
A: 12 guage speaker wire should work fine.
A: undefined
A: horrible
Q: Are these worth it if you only use low to medium volume?
A: Absolutely! The speaker's sensitivity is 95. Even a small quality amp or receiver will make these sound very nice. Driving these with my NAD 317 integrated amp, 80 watts per channel, makes these sing like Sinatra. These speakers don't have to be played loud to sound good, but if you choose to play them loud, they will do that very well. In summary- they sound very nice from background music levels to defibrillator levels. A quality product.
Q: I have a Demon avr-x1500h 7.2 ch 175w recover will these be able to be played with what I have.
A: Don't turn it up too loud. You'll create distortion and blow these within seconds. They're no efficient enough. The sensitivity level they mention in their specs are incorrect and no where near 90 or 86 db for that much.
A: Yes need good power to wake them up and make them sing. I have the Yamaha as-701 with clean 100 wpc - the as-501 is also recommended. It has 85 wpc and couple of hundred dollars less but still powerful and clean. Great combo. I also have Dento blt-2 for good blue tooth connection with built in digital to analog converter. Enjoy as with right amp these are awesome

I thought that these speakers would be cheap sounding because of their reasonable price, but no they're very professional sounding when teamed with my Marantz NR1200 receiver. They sound fantastic, worth every penny!!!

WOW! I am in love with these speakers! I want to start off with saying that I am a newbie with amps and all of that but I went online and read and read. I first tried using these speakers with a Sony receiver and they didn’t sound great and the receiver didn’t power the speakers good enough. I then went and bought a Crown XLS 1000 model amp. The guy at guitar center told me how to hook it up and I read online how to do it. I made sure the amp wasn’t stronger than the speakers. When I plugged the amp into the receiver it sounded bad, it was lower than the set up without the amp. I went back to Guitar Center and the associate told me to bring in my receiver. I also have a vintage Pioneer receiver that I took to the store as well. The associate told me it’s not me, I did everything correctly. He hooked up both of my receivers to his setup in the store and it did the same thing, barely any power. So he told me I should get a mixer and hook up the amp to that with no receiver. I listened to him and today I hooked up the amp to the mixer and ditched my receiver and I can’t even describe to everyone here how amazing these speakers sound. There is so much power and the bass rattles my house. These speakers are absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend an amp and I like a mixer more than a stereo receiver. I don’t listen to the radio at all so I don’t mind. I DJ as a hobby and I used to DJ on turntables for 10 years but now I use a DJ controller instead. I hooked up the DJ controller to the mixer as well, I love how I can still use the features on the DJ controller even though it’s hooked up to a mixer. I also bought a Bluetooth receiver and hooked that up to the mixer, it was $14 on Amazon and I can stream music from my phone to my sound system. I know this review is for the speakers but I wanted to share all this info for someone who is thinking to maybe have the same set-up as I do. I had no idea how to shop for an amp or hook any of it up but I mainly taught myself. You won’t regret getting these speakers, they are the best speakers I have ever owned.

Big old school loudspeakers. Sound great! Crystal clear deep base and ear piercing highs. I'm driving them with only 105 watt per channel amp and can only turn it up about 2/3 of the way before I feel like I might be causing damage to my ears! lol. This is a LOT of speaker for $400 a pair & free shipping. I thought about buying a second pair as a back up just in case I ever fried these out but with 225 watt RMS & 430 watt peak max, I don't know that I could fry them out with my 105 watt per channel set up but you never know.
