Soul rocker Kwame Binea was born in West London with native origins in Ghana and now living in NYC. He is a self-proclaimed rocker to the core, but has peppered his music with a unique brand of InchRoots RockInch which embodies his fertile and culturally diverse personal saga. 'Universal Love' by Jimmy Cliff, a featured track on the recording, was produced by Living Color founder Vernon Reid who also co-wrote the tune 'Love Surreal'. Of the process, Vernon says InchKwame connected to 'Universal Love' immediately. He brings a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of hope to this seldom heard classic.Inch Kwame Binea has a charismatic, soulful, & romantic vocal approach to Pop suffused with Rock energy. Though not a political message artist per se, he does not shy away from questioning modern issues. 'Roots Rock n Universal Love' is Kwame's epic answer of how to inspire people while also making them dance.

Waltz for Debby was recorded June 25, 1961 live at the Village Vanguard jazz club. The place acoustics played a big role the small, triangular basement club naturally produced a warm, close-up sound. They were used portable Ampex tape machines with relatively few microphones - one near the piano, one for bass, one for drums, plus a room mic to capture the club's natural ambiance. This minimalist setup is part of why the recording still sounds intimate and natural. Bill Evans (that had a two-week engagement at the Village Vanguard with his trio) and producer Orrin Keepnews (Riverside Records co-founder) decided to capture a single Sunday of live performances in afternoon and evening sets. Result was high-quality material for two albums InchSunday at the Village VanguardInch released first, 1961 and InchWaltz for DebbyInch released the next year, 1962. The title track is a gentle, lyrical waltz Evans originally composed in 1956 as a musical portrait of his young niece, Debby. All compositions included feels Evans transforms them into deeply personal statements, with the the title track serving as the emotional centerpiece. A fantastic trio's telepathic communication, especially between Evans and bassist Scott LaFaro that tragically died in a car accident just 10 days after the recording at age 25. Widely regarded as one of the greatest piano trio albums of all time, InchWaltz for DebbyInch showcases Evans' approach to the trio , where bass and drums are not just accompaniment but equal partners in dialogue and these show how fluid and spontaneous was the trio himself.

UK vinyl LP pressing. 2012 sophomore album from the Australian Alt-Rock/Psych Rock band. In November 2012, LONERISM won the 2012 J Award for Australian Album of the Year. They also won it for their debut album Innerspeaker in 2010. This makes them the first band to have won the J Award more than once, and the first band to have won a J Award for every album that they have ever released. They followed this achievement up in January 2013 by winning the Rolling Stone award for 2012 Album of the Year again, after they also won it in 2011 for Innerspeaker.
