I couldn't be happier with the Birdfy 2 Smart Bird Feeder! Setup was a breeze — connecting to Wi-Fi was as simple as scanning the QR code, and I appreciated the little camera confirmation sounds that let me know everything was working correctly. No frustration, just a smooth start. Watching birds has become a daily highlight for me and my kids. It’s been so much fun identifying the different species together — the AI recognition is surprisingly accurate! The dual-angle cameras are a game changer. Even if a bird isn’t facing one camera, the other angle usually catches a perfect view. We've captured some beautiful moments that we would’ve missed otherwise. The solar panel is also a huge plus. I haven’t had to worry about recharging the cameras at all — they stay powered even on cloudy days. It really makes the whole experience low-maintenance, which I love. This feeder has turned our backyard into a mini wildlife sanctuary. Highly recommend for families, nature lovers, or anyone who just wants a bit more joy in their day!

I ordered online, and was notified that it was ready almost a week earlier than projected. Pickup was smooth – it was at the front of my local Best Buy store. This item is an upgrade from my current Birdfy feeder, which was a gift, and I waited a few days after setting it up outside before reviewing. The whole process was seamless, since we had practice with the first one. Definitely higher quality, heavier duty, and heavier item. Setup and connection to Wi-Fi was straightforward, as was adding the device to my existing Birdfy account. It was also easy to get my current users on my account connected to the new feeder, although I’m still getting used to managing all the views on my app. Mounting instructions and attachments were easy to use (alternative pole ring mounts and tree trunk straps provided, as with the original Birdfy). We enjoy the two camera angles, and the side one captures some birds not well viewed on the main camera.We especially like being able to direct the main camera to pan in different directions by tapping on the live feed on my phone, since I have other feeders in the area, including my Birdfy.( If we could adjust the focus to see farther, that would be SO awesome, but I get that this is not the point of these cameras). The rooftop lid snaps more securely, and the birdseed doesn’t move down into the trough as easily – I had to tap the sides a few times. But that also means that the seed doesn’t run out as quickly or spill as easily. The covered trough helps out with that as well and helps limit the amount of rain that gets into the birdseed. I do NOT miss the wobbly external antenna on the other feeder at all, and the transmission doesn’t seem affected. We still have to mount our solar panel, but expect it will work as well as the panel on our other feeder. I miss the pretty blue color, but this more “natural” color does blend in more. Overall – a great new product with lots of upgrades and improvements - sturdy, nice curved lines, great tech. Pricey, but I think it will last a long time.

Super excited to get my third Birdfy feeder! This one is an upgrade from my original as it has two cameras and the color/design of it blends into the nature better! Ordering and shipping was super easy. Setting up the feeders is always simple and easy to complete. The solar panel aspect is huge as you don’t ever have to bring it back in to charge! Definitely recommend!!

I love this bird feeder! The pro camera has the ability to show a wide view and also zoom in on birds that stop by our feeder. The second camera we’re able to angle so that we can see the birds on the camera, but also see around our yard to make sure our dogs don’t get into any trouble. The image quality is great and I look forward to seeing what birds have stopped by at the end of a day. Set up was really easy - just follow the directions in the app. The cameras will also give indicators that you’re making progress. If you’re a fan of birds, I highly recommend one of these bird feeders.

This was our second Birdfy product. The first was a breeze to setup. This one, unfortunately, was not. We spent more than an hour chatting with support, and sent more than one email to support which resulted in non-helpful canned responses. This was all surrounding the requirement of a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal for initial setup. Our router has such capabilities to select bandwidth, but for some unknown reason, the cameras will not connect during setup. We tried hotspots, alternate phones, many SSIDs, all at the suggestion of tech support. Eventually, we ended up bringing the whole system to a friend's house to try their wi-fi system and we finally had success in connecting to the server! We're excited to see which feathered friends show up for us to observe! Too bad it took so much effort on our end, with lackluster (at best) support from Birdfy. Time will tell if they ever provide insightful or helpful feedback.
