A: Yes...the adjustments are on the vacuum
A: If your vacuum model number is 1823 then when you look at the Bissell website you need to use model number 1825. When I was trying to register the vacuum I had to call their support line because I could not find model # 1823. The tech told me that to use model # 1825 because they are the same even for parts. I looked up the part number for the vacuum 1825 and it is 2031093. You should be able to use that number in a google search to find different companies that sell the belt.
Q: Is this product good for homes with a large dog that sheds???
A: Yes!!! It is excellent in picking up dog hair. I have a dog that sheds terribly and it works wonders!
Q: Is this vacuum light weight?
A: It's not heavy if that is a fare answer? Not the Hevieast. Definitely not the lightest. Though I am a 275 pound dude.
Q: Does this vacuum has a filter below the dirt canister?
A: It does! There is a replaceable pleated post motor filter below the dirt cup in the vacuum, and a washable pre motor filter in the top lid of the dirt cup.
Q: Does this vacuum has a HEPA filter?
A: Great question - Kami. While this vacuum does use Multi Level filtration, it is not a sealed HEPA system.
A: Yes it has settings on it so it can go all the way to floor for hardwood or raised up for thick carpet!
