The new Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus G2 is an updated studio camera model which adds 12G-SDI, allowing you to connect it to SDI based switchers such as ATEM Constellation and ATEM Television Studio. The older model only had HDMI video out, but now that the new model has 12G-SDI out and in, it means you get talkback using 3.5mm headsets, plus you can push a PGM button to see the return video on the camera’s LCD. Plus the 12G-SDI program return supports tally and camera control from the switcher. It retains the same amazing 4K digital film sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range and the built in hardware YRGB DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector so you can grade in camera for some really cinematic looking live video!
