    Great Thanksgiving

    Installed just in time for Thanksgiving. Turkey cooked great and in less time than we expected. Turkey was not dry just overall perfect. Oven is easy to operate and we absolutely love our new oven microwave combo.

    Good oven but there are issues.

    I have had a Bosch oven microwave combo for 17 years I like the product. But finally had to replace mine went with Bosch 500 microwave wall oven combo. The microwave works good but being 5’2 it is difficult to reach to center of unit because of door. It opens like the oven just something to consider. There is no way to keep clock display on after a few minutes it disappears. But what I think is the biggest problem with the unit is the volume on timer. If there is any other noise in kitchen or close by you will not hear timer. Have to use Alexa to time food in oven. Kinda ridiculous $4,500.00 oven and can’t hear the timer. The oven vents air to cool electronics really vents air. Bosch makes good quality products but this model is not their best offering. Just pay the extra cost for the next model up.

    Glitchy microwave

    I bought this Bosch because my wife thought it was a high end appliance. It looks nice but costs a lot. The microwave sometimes doesn't displays an error code that prevents it from working, so I have to power it off at the switchbox. I called Bosch and they did not even know what the error code meant! Save your money and get a GE or KitchenAid like I would have if I hadn't let my wife pick our oven/microwave.

  • TWO CLOCKS! Perfect for people who can’t get enough clocks on their appliances! Do they synchronize, or do I have to manually set them individually? Hopefully they slowly get out of sync with each other so I can be driven mad by that awful task.

    Hi Clockwatcher, thanks for your question. On model HBL57M52UC, and all of our models, each oven maintains its own internal timer and clock settings and each need to be set manually. Unfortunately, they will not synchronize.

  • Does this Bosch combination oven and microwave has a button so that I can simply add 30 seconds every time I press it? If not, is there any combination units that give me the option of simply pressing an "add 30 seconds" to make it simple to operate?

    Hi JimT, thank you for your question. Yes, the Microwave in this unit does have a +30 sec, which adds 30 seconds to microwave cooking time.

The lower section of the HBL57M52UC features the following cooking modes: Bake, Variable Broil (hi & low), Roast, Warm, Sabbath, Proof Dough, Convection Bake, Convection Broil, Convection Roast, Pizza, Convection Multi Rack, Convection Conversion.

  • My current setup has a 3 prong outlet for the microwave and a 220 junction box for the oven. Is the electric setup the same for this combo?

    Hi, thanks for your question. Model HBL57M52UC requires a 240V power supply. A 3-prong outlet cannot be used with this appliance.
