Q: What is CrystalDry.

A: they are crystals that interact with the moisture in the dishwasher that increases the inside temp to about 175°. There isn't an electrical drying element. Works great and I assume that they last forever. For all crystal dry models

Q: Do all Bosch Series 800 Dishwashers have "1b Dispenser for special salt *" I want to purchase the correct Model.

A: Hi Walt, thank you for your question regarding Model:SHEM78Z55N. The Bosch 800 Series Dishwashers do not have internal Water Softeners. This Bosch Benchmark Model does have an internal Water Softener, Model: SHP88PZ55N.

Q: Does this dishwasher come with a power cord?

A: It comes with a power cord for a conventional three prong outlet. If you want to direct wire, you need to buy a Bosch accessory for that purpose.

Q: How do you get 5 different bosch appliances to have matching handles? Can U choose ur handles? Same for DW/fridge/microwave,etc?

As for handles, many choose our Bar Handle which is available in all categories, such as Ranges, Microwaves, Dishwashers, Refrigerators and more.

Q: Hello, does the silverware holder come out completely and or can you move it around?

A: Yes, it does come out. It is hooked to the lower rank. Just lean it forward and it will come out. I have not figured out a way to move it. I hope this helps.

Q: We were just in the store in Madison, MS and they had a free installation promotion for all Bosch Dishwashers over $629.99. Is this option available online if I purchase this unit?

A: Free installation is included as advertised with purchase weather on line or in the store. Free removal of old appliance is also offered.

Q: One website said this model was discontinued and would be replaced with a newer model. When and why?

A: I have been shopping for a new dishwasher for the past few months and this model is not showing any indication of being discontinued from what I've seen or read anywhere.
