Warm air may be released from the vent before, during and after cooking. It is normal to see steam escaping from the vent and condensation may collect in this area. This area may be hot when the oven is in use. Do not block the vent as it is important for air circulation.
A: Yes we also have a 30 inch opening the actual box is 29. 3/4 but the glass top overhangs bring it to the 31 3/4 the bosh fit in perfectly! Highly recommend this product we love it!

Make sure the bottom of the pot or pan being used is clean and dry. Use pots and pans with thick, smooth metal bottoms. Do not slide metal pots across the cooktop. Pans may leave marks which need to be removed immediately. Do not use glass pans as they may scratch the surface.
