The Marine 8 features a tweeter and a polypropylene bass/midrange driver. This combination is capable of delivering pristine sound in the most severe of environments. The speaker is capable of surviving the extremes of temperature, salt spray and hosing down that occurs in a marine environment. The metal grille and fixings are stainless steel. The driver chassis uses a non-corroding rigid polymer and the tweeter dome has a rear support to prevent permanent deformation when hosed down.
