Q: Can I get scanned document (multiple page document in single pdf) in PDF?
A: The Brother DCP-L2550DW can scan multiple page documents into a singe PDF.
A: Yes it can.It is compatible with Apple and Android devices.
Q: Can it scan photographs in color so I can print in a colored photo printer later?
A: Yes, it can. I scanned a very wrinkled certificate award I received from a state-wide competition. The scan appeared in color and I was able to print the colored version to my other printer using card stock, making myself a copy of the award in a crisp new look. Photos should work the same. I have included a picture of my scan (I turned the file into PDF, but jpeg and PNG (both photo files) were also options. Hope this answers your question.

A: I use both simultaneously but as with any network printer, print jobs will spool. Atypically large print jobs can buffer as there isn't a huge onboard memory. For something of this nature you'll probably best be served with a standalone print sever(external drive servo)
