Q: When one ink cartridge is out are you able to only change that one without having to replace all?
A: Yes. There's cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (black not included in this particular package). You can change any of them individually. I find that each of the 3 colors tends to run out at about the same time, so I've never had to buy just a single color.
A: The printer should have come with cartridges. After that, they cost money. It feels as if they are as expensive as normal ink (ugh, super-expensive), but one tank lasts a lot longer.
