An F/UTP foil screen surrounds all four twisted pairs, which is what lets Cat6a hold 10GBASE-T at distance where an unshielded cable gives alien crosstalk room to build. Each RJ45 plug uses 50-micron gold-plated contacts wired to T568B, and a snagless molded boot protects the locking tab inside a dense patch field.
