Standard Cat6 patch cords are thick and stiff; this 28 AWG version has a 3.6 mm jacket, about 40% slimmer than a standard 6.2 mm Cat 6 cord, so it routes cleanly behind a gaming console, under a desk, or through a crowded 48-port patch panel without blocking airflow. Wire a PS5, Xbox, or PC to the router, or jump patch panel to switch in a home lab. Lengths from 6 inch and 1 ft to 50 ft.
Four UTP pairs of 28 AWG stranded bare copper, not copper-clad aluminum, rated to 250 MHz for 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet and backward compatible with Cat 5e ports, auto-negotiating down to 100 Mbps when a device cannot go faster.
