About this product
This Cat 6a shielded Ethernet patch cable - also sold as a Cat6a LAN cable, internet cable or RJ45 network cord - carries high speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet across the full 100 m the standard allows, over a 24 AWG stranded bare copper core rated to 500 MHz. An F/UTP foil screen surrounds all four twisted pairs, which is what lets Cat6a hold 10GBASE-T at distance where an unshielded cable gives alien crosstalk room to build. Each RJ45 plug uses 50-micron gold-plated contacts wired to T568B, and a snagless molded boot protects the locking tab inside a dense patch field. Backward compatible with Cat 5e and Cat6 ports, so it can go in ahead of the switch upgrade. Compatible with Cisco, Netgear, TP-Link, Ubiquiti, Linksys, ASUS, Synology and QNAP equipment. Stocked in 1, 3, 5, 7, 10ft, 14, 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ft - short jumpers through long Ethernet cables between racks. Measure the path the cable travels, not the straight line. Best for: 10 Gigabit uplinks, server rooms and patch panels. Not for: in-wall runs or outdoors.
Cable Length
75'10 Gigabit Cat 6a, Shielded F/UTP, 24 AWG Bare Copper
Runs 10GBASE-T across the full 100 m the Cat 6a standard permits, on four twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded bare copper rated to 500 MHz. Not copper-clad aluminum. RJ45 contacts are plated with 50 microinches of gold and wired straight through to T568B. Backward compatible with Cat 6 and Cat 5e equipment, so the cabling can be upgraded before the switches are.
The Foil Screen Is Why Cat 6a Holds 10G at Distance
Cat 6a earns its 10 Gigabit rating over 100 m largely by controlling alien crosstalk - interference bleeding between cables bundled next to each other. The F/UTP foil screen around all four pairs is what does that work. It matters most in exactly the place 10G tends to live: a dense patch field, a metal rack, or a tray shared with power cabling.
Not For: In-Wall or Outdoor. Everything Else, Yes
Quick check. Server rack, patch panel, 10 Gigabit uplink, NAS or switch? Yes. Cat 6 or Cat 5e port you plan to upgrade later? Yes, it is backward compatible. Permanently inside a wall or ceiling? No - that needs in-wall rated cable. Outdoors, buried or weather-exposed? No. Works with Cisco, Netgear, TP-Link, Ubiquiti, Linksys, ASUS, Synology and QNAP hardware, and with any standard RJ45 port.
Snagless Boot Keeps the Locking Tab From Snapping
The usual way a patch cable dies is the plastic release tab shearing off, after which the plug will not stay seated. A molded snagless boot covers that tab so it does not catch on a bundle or a panel edge as the cable is drawn back out. In a dense patch field that is the difference between a cable you can reuse and one you throw away.
Sample-Tested, and We Replace Failures Ourselves
Cable Leader sample-tests each production run for continuity and correct T568B pin order before it ships. If a cable arrives dead or fails in service, Cable Leader handles the replacement directly - there is no need to work through a third party. Tell us the length you received and we will send a replacement.

Set up your home or office network with a reliable Ethernet solution. This Insignia 50 ft. Cat 6A Ethernet Cable can tackle high-bandwidth usage and offers a stable connection of up to 10 Gbps of data transfer speed. The cable is 50 ft. with integrated strain relief, providing flexible placement options.

This Cat 6a Ethernet cable - also sold as a Cat6a LAN cable, internet cable or RJ45 network cord - runs high speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 m over four twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded bare copper rated to 500 MHz: a thicker conductor than the 26 AWG common at this price, and bare copper rather than copper-clad aluminum. A wired link removes the jitter and sudden drop-outs Wi-Fi introduces, which is why cabling a desk, console or streaming box is worth it even where wireless reaches. Each RJ45 plug carries 50-micron gold-plated contacts wired to T568B, and a snagless molded boot guards the locking tab behind a desk. Backward compatible with Cat 5e and Cat6. Compatible with Netgear, TP-Link, ASUS, Linksys, Eero, Ubiquiti, Synology and QNAP gear. Stocked in 3, 5, 7, 10ft, 14, 15, 20, 25, 50 and 100 ft - short desk jumpers through long Ethernet cables between rooms. Measure the path the cable travels, not the straight line. Best for: home offices, gaming setups, routers, modems and smart TVs. Not for: in-wall runs, outdoors, or electrically noisy rooms.

This Cat 6 shielded Ethernet patch cable - also sold as a Cat6 LAN cable, internet cable or RJ45 network cord - moves Gigabit traffic over a 24 AWG stranded bare copper core tested to 550 MHz, well beyond the 250 MHz the Cat 6 standard asks for. Foil shielding wraps all four twisted pairs, so the run stays clean beside power cabling, inside metal racks and near motors or ballasts where unshielded cords pick up noise. Each RJ45 plug carries 50-micron gold-plated contacts wired to T568B, and a snagless molded boot shields the locking tab so it does not snap when the cable is pulled back out of a packed patch panel. Backward compatible with Cat 5e and ready for Cat6a ports. Compatible with Cisco, Netgear, TP-Link, Ubiquiti, Linksys, ASUS, Synology and QNAP hardware. Stocked in 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10ft, 14, 15, 20, 25, 50 and 100 ft - short jumpers through long Ethernet cables between rooms. Measure the path the cable travels, not the straight line. Best for: structured wiring, server rooms and patch panels. Not for: in-wall runs, outdoors, or 10 Gigabit across a full 100 m.
