Out of room behind the router or under a desk, but still want a wired 10 Gbps link? This Cable Leader slim Cat6a Ethernet patch cable uses 28 AWG stranded pairs to cut the diameter about 60% versus a standard 24 AWG Cat 6a cord, so more thin, flexible cables fit in the same space. Built with 100% bare copper conductors wired T-568B, 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts, and snagless clear boots that protect the locking tab in dense patch fields. Compatible with any RJ45 network, LAN, or internet port, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch OLED dock, Apple TV 4K (Ethernet model), Roku Ultra, Samsung and LG smart TVs, eero or Netgear routers, and any PC or laptop with an Ethernet port; it is an indoor patch cord, not bulk cable. Supports 10 Gbps (10GBASE-T) on Cat 6a gear and auto-negotiates down to Gigabit or 100 Mbps. Best for: data center patch panels, server racks, home labs, gaming and streaming setups, and tidy desks that need a short, thin 10Gb Ethernet cable. Not for: plenum or riser runs, outdoor or direct-burial use, or high-power PoE++ bundles. RoHS compliant.
Standard Cat6a patch cords are thick and stiff; this 28 AWG version is about 60% thinner, so it routes cleanly behind a gaming console, under a desk, or through a crowded 48-port patch panel without blocking airflow. Wire a PS5, Xbox, or PC to the router, jump patch panel to switch in a home lab or server rack, or swap a bulky Cat6 cord for a short ethernet cable you can hide. Lengths from 6 inch and 1 ft to 75 ft; rated for 10Gbps.
Every UTP pair is 28 AWG stranded 100% bare copper (no copper-clad aluminum), twisted to Cat 6a spacing and terminated T-568B on both ends, so a 10GBASE-T link holds full speed and drops cleanly to 2.5G, Gigabit, or 100 Mbps when a device cannot go faster. RJ45 plugs use 50-micron gold-plated contacts that resist corrosion through repeated plugging. Built to ANSI/TIA-568 Category 6A requirements; construction verified by UL and ETL.
Translucent snagless boots cover the RJ45 latch so it does not catch or break when you pull one cable out of a crowded bundle. 50-micron gold-plated contacts and molded strain relief at both ends are built for repeated plug and unplug cycles in patch panels, lab benches, and behind entertainment centers. The thin 28 AWG PVC jacket coils tighter than standard Cat6a for cleaner cable management behind desks and inside racks.
Each cable is sample-tested during production for continuity, wire map, and data integrity. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards (lead, mercury, and cadmium-free). If your cable arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly, no manufacturer redirects.
