Need to power a server, UPS, or high-wattage workstation from a 208V or 240V circuit with a NEMA 6-15R or 6-20R outlet, but the equipment only shipped with a standard 120V cord? This Cable Leader NEMA 6-15P to IEC C13 power cord connects any device with a C14 inlet directly to a 240V receptacle, rated 15A 250V so a full-load rack server runs on one cord with no adapter. Built with 14 AWG three-conductor copper wire, a 105C SJT jacket, and fully molded plugs with strain relief at both ends for rack installations and under-desk cable runs. Compatible with any device using an IEC C14 inlet on a 208V, 220V, or 240V supply, including servers, UPS units, rack PDUs with C14 input, network switches, storage arrays, and 240V workstations; it does not fit standard 120V NEMA 5-15R wall outlets, C20 inlets, or twist-lock L6 receptacles. UL Listed, RoHS and REACH compliant. Best for: 208V/240V rack and workstation power from a 6-15R or 6-20R outlet. Not for: 120V household outlets, C19/C20 equipment, or loads above 15A.
Replace the 120V cord that came in the box with one made for the 240V circuit your equipment actually runs on. Plugs into a NEMA 6-15R or 6-20R receptacle at one end and any IEC C14 inlet at the other: rack servers on a 208V branch circuit, a UPS or PDU fed from a 240 volt drop, or a high-wattage workstation on a dedicated 240V outlet. Rated 15A 250V.
A thin 18 AWG cord run at 15A on a 240V circuit heats up and drops voltage under sustained load; this cord uses 14 AWG three-conductor copper sized for the full 15A rating with margin to spare. The NEMA 6-15P plug (NEMA 6-15 series) is the standard 250V configuration for 15 amp branch circuits, and the IEC C13 end meets the IEC 60320 spec for C14 inlets. 105C SJT jacket, UL Listed, RoHS and REACH compliant.
Works with any device that has an IEC C14 power inlet, accepts 208V to 240V input, and draws 15A or less: servers, UPS units, rack PDUs, network switches, storage arrays, 240V workstations. Quick check: Outlet is NEMA 6-15R or 6-20R - Yes; Device inlet is C14 (3-pin, fits C13) - Yes; Standard 120V 3-prong wall outlet (5-15R) - No; Device inlet is C20 or draws over 15A - No. For 120V outlets, use a NEMA 5-15P to C13 cord.
Three 14 gauge (14 AWG) copper conductors inside a 105C-rated SJT jacket that stays flexible enough to route through rack rails and cable managers without kinking. Both the 6-15P plug and the C13 connector are fully molded with integrated strain relief, so the cord survives repeated seating in a C14 inlet and being pulled through under-desk runs. Black jacket blends into rack and office wiring.
Each cord is sample-tested during production for electrical continuity. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards (lead, mercury, and cadmium-free). If your cord arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly - no manufacturer redirects.
