Upgrading to the Canon R6 Mark II was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my photography journey. It’s hands-down the best camera I’ve ever owned, and it’s completely transformed the way I shoot. Coming from a DSLR setup, the switch to mirrorless has been a revelation. The R6 Mark II is incredibly intuitive, with a user-friendly interface that makes navigating settings and functions effortless even in fast-paced shooting situations. I genuinely don’t see myself ever going back to a DSLR after experiencing this level of ease and performance. One of the most noticeable improvements came when I upgraded my lens from the 24-105mm to the 24-70mm. The difference in sharpness, speed, and overall image quality was immediate and impressive. Combined with the R6 Mark II’s outstanding autofocus and low-light capabilities, this setup delivers consistently professional results whether I’m shooting portraits, landscapes, or video. If you’re on the fence about making the jump to mirrorless or considering the R6 Mark II specifically don’t hesitate. It’s a powerful, versatile camera that delivers on every level.

I'm still getting used to this camera but so far, I love it. I decided to go with the RF 24-105 f/4 L lens because I didn't want to compromise on a lower quality lens after reading what the actual camera is capable of doing. I am glad I spent the extra money on it because it's a great lens with this camera. I mainly use the camera for landscape photography and nature photography, which it does not disappoint. This camera is also nice and light weight thanks to the mirrorless body. It fits perfectly into my hands. I got used to the weight of the RF 24-105 lens after taking this camera out to shoot for a few sessions and now I don't feel like the lens is too heavy at all. The features and settings are simple to use if you're used to Canon cameras (which I am, as this is not the first Canon I've owned). Overall, this camera is awesome. I bought it as an upgrade from my prior camera, which was a Canon Rebel T5. I couldn't be happier, as its features blow my last camera out of the water in terms of performance, quality, and capabilities. With that said, I can't wait to learn how to master this camera and all its amazing features. If you're thinking of upgrading to a mirrorless camera, I highly recommend!

this is my first professional camera and i love it
